Anitha Bellary

Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 200®

Anitha is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher and has been teaching in the Lake County, Illinois area since 2012.  Anitha is strongly influenced by her Indian cultural background and along with her yoga teaching, also pursues Indian scriptural studies at the Vedantic Center, Grayslake, IL.

Anitha believes that consistent yoga practice brings about a transformation at every level -  body, mind, and spirit. In her  Hatha yoga classes, she teaches asanas with postural and alignment awareness and makes them accessible by offering safe alternatives. She conducts workshops to provide wellness toolsets of asana, pranayam, meditation practices, and chanting to cultivate calmness of mind.

At TBY, Anitha contributes to the Yoga Teacher Training as a Guest Teacher.

In her day job, Anitha works at Allstate as a Telematics product manager and lives with her husband and two kids in the Gurnee area. Her hobbies include volunteering, walking outdoors, and spending time at the library.
