What We're About
Being a welcoming space for ALL
Yoga is a gift to the world—and it’s our mission to create a welcoming space for all who are interested. Regardless of where you come from, what you believe in, or how able-bodied you are, we want you to experience the profound gifts of yoga. Not only is everybody welcome here, we strive to make each student feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Because that’s how we start to create a more peaceful, joyful world—right?
Teaching CARE of the body/mind
Like many of you, we’ve experienced stress, overwhelm, health issues, challenging situations, and upheaval of all kinds. One thing we can say for sure is, yoga helps. We are focused on offering expertly-sequenced Hatha Yoga Classes that leave you feeling better than when you started. With a healthy body, clear mind, and open heart—we can navigate life with more clarity, courage, and care. It can take time and patience, but taking up a yoga discipline is worth it.
Staying true to yoga’s roots
When most people think of yoga, they think of the poses and postures. However, yoga is a comprehensive science with deep history and ancient philosophy. Through regular practice and study, we are given the opportunity to raise our awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and actions—and learn how to navigate life with more ease, compassion, and connection for ourselves, others, and all of life.
Living mindfully & authentically
As we begin looking inward and taking better care of ourselves, we begin noticing things that are disturbing our peace… self-imposed distractions, others’ expectations of us, unkind thoughts toward ourselves, people pleasing tendencies… We begin breathing through stressful situations and finding the courage to make tough decisions. Importantly, we begin discerning what felt like authentic self expression and what felt contrived—and then we begin encouraging others to do the same.
