Yoga Teacher
Carole has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She began her practice to gain flexibility and calm her type A personality, but stayed for the other yoga benefits she couldn’t even imagine - reduced stress, improved focus, mental resilience, and the incredibly supportive community.
Carole is passionate about making yoga accessible to every body–regardless of age, size, shape, or ability. Carole encourages students to start where they are and enjoy making slow, steady progress with consistent practice. In her classes, you can expect mindful meditation, pranayama, asana practice, and yoga philosophy. The goal is to get a little more comfortable with the uncomfortable and to feel great when finished.
When not teaching or practicing yoga, Carole enjoys walking the Des Plaines River Trail, riding her bike that goes nowhere, strength training, paddle-boarding, cooking, and traveling, with Key West and Phoenix (and her two grandchildren) being some of her favorite destinations.
