
Kadi Underwood
Yoga Teacher, RYT 200®
Kadi began an at-home yoga practice in her early 20’s watching Rodney Yee yoga DVDs and dabbling with Kundalini yoga as a way to improve flexibility and posture. She quickly learned yoga provided many benefits beyond the physical practice. She noticed the sense of well-being and calm she was able to cultivate by connecting body movements to breath and focusing on present moment awareness.
In 2011, she joined the TBY yoga community to deepen her practice by taking classes with a variety of teachers across different levels and styles of asana practice. Her yoga practice has served as her core centering practice to support her in managing through life’s journey as a mother and leader of large teams working in the corporate world. In addition to the physical yoga practice, Kadi loves learning about yoga philosophy, breath-work, and other healing modalities. She has her level 2 Reiki certification and plans to pursue her Master level Reiki certification.
Kadi is excited to join the TBY teacher team after being a TBY student for 14 years! She looks forward to sharing the gift of yoga with others by teaching a Gentle Basics format class that will be accessible to students new to practice as well as seasoned practitioners looking for a slower-paced class.
